About This Tour
Experience details and what makes this journey unique
The Dolomites… they defy description in a way few places can. Picture yourself standing amid endless meadows of wildflowers under the soft glow of alpine sunset, with jagged peaks rising like ancient cathedrals against a sky painted in impossible pinks and golds. The air is crisp and alive with the scent of pine and grass, every turn revealing a composition that feels both timeless and immediate. One moment you're framing the iconic silhouette of Tre Cime di Lavaredo in golden hour light, the next you're capturing the Milky Way arching over serene high plateaus, stars so dense they seem touchable. These mountains aren't just scenery, they stir something deep, a quiet awe that lingers long after the shutter clicks. Summer transforms the Dolomites into a playground of light and texture: rolling green hills in Alpe di Siusi, crystal lakes mirroring sheer cliffs, and passes where clouds drift between pinnacles like brushstrokes on canvas. Whether chasing dawn reflections or night skies free from city glow, inspiration waits around every bend. Each year we return to these peaks to guide passionate photographers like you. We teach you to read the shifting alpine light, compose with intention, and forge an emotional bond with the landscape. Our coaching suits beginners to advanced, with hands-on field tips, image reviews, and editing sessions. We handle all logistics so you can focus purely on creating: transport, accommodations, meals, and routes optimized for the best light. Eight days immersed in the raw beauty and endless variety of the Dolomites, where every shot tells a story you'll carry forever.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Complete daily schedule with locations and photography opportunities
The Alpe di Siusi welcomes you with its vast, rolling meadows bathed in warm sunset light. The small Church of San Valentino emerges among the flowers and tall grass, offering your first visual contact with the magic of the Dolomites. It's the perfect moment to breathe in the pure mountain air and capture panoramic shots in a calm and serene atmosphere.
The vast meadows of Alpe di Siusi stretch endlessly, dotted with colorful flowers and framed by the imposing Dolomites. Sunset bathes the mountains in golden and pink hues, while reflections on the rocks create a unique color palette. At night, if the sky is clear, you can capture the incredible Milky Way embracing the surrounding peaks, with the meadows providing a perfect foreground for starry shots.
Passo Sella offers breathtaking panoramas, with jagged and wild peaks rising against the morning sky. The golden hour light illuminates the rock faces, creating stunning contrasts and depth. At sunset at Passo Gardena, the mountains glow in red and orange tones, with clouds suspended between the peaks adding drama to the scene. Night photography under a clear sky allows you to capture stars shining between the legendary Dolomite peaks.
Passo Giau offers a wild and dramatic panorama, with peaks stretching as far as the eye can see. The sunset light ignites the rocky pinnacles and sheer walls, creating perfect compositions for landscape photography. Every bend of the road reveals a unique angle, with views that look like paintings, ideal for capturing the magic of the Venetian Dolomites.
Sunrise at Lago di Antorno offers an intimate and atmospheric setting, with the surrounding Dolomite peaks gently reflected in its calm waters. The first light of day paints the mountains in soft pink and orange tones, creating elegant and minimalist compositions, perfect for refined and quiet landscape photography. At sunset, Lago di Misurina becomes one of the most iconic settings in the Dolomites. The lake mirrors the imposing peaks that rise above it while the sky turns warm and vibrant. Mountain silhouettes reflecting on the water create dramatic and balanced compositions, an unforgettable way to close the day.
The wild and imposing peaks of Passo delle Erbe dominate the horizon, with sheer cliffs and deep valleys. Alpine meadows dotted with flowers and small huts provide perfect contrasts for landscape photography. At sunset, golden light transforms the mountains into a mosaic of warm colors, while night photography reveals an intense starry sky, perfect for long exposure shots.
The Tre Cime di Lavaredo embody the essence of the Dolomites, towering, majestic rock faces dominating the landscape. Warm sunset light sculpts the cliffs, creating deep shadows and spectacular contrasts. The iconic composition of these three peaks offers endless photographic opportunities.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer Cortina to Venice (3h). Farewell.
